Professor. Dr. Shridhar Gadre
Founder, Ex-Director ISSC, Distinguished Professor

Professor Gadre, an Indian scientist working in computational quantum and theoretical chemistry for more than 30 years. He is the fouder of ISSC. He has a PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India and post-doctorate from the University of North Carolina and University of Houston U.S.A.
He is the recipient of the prestigious Sir Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize in Chemical Sciences(1993).

Professor. Dr. Anjali Kshirsagar
Director ISSC

An accomplished Physicist and a gold medal winner from the Devi Ahilya University of Indore, Dr. Kshirsagar completed her Ph.D. as well as M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Pune with specialization in Computational Condensed Matter Physics. She has guided ten Ph.D. and three M.Phil. students. She is a Professor at the Department of Physics, University of Pune and the Director of Centre for Modelling and Simulation. She has published her research in journals of international repute and completed projects funded by UGC, DST, BRNS, ARMREB.
She is a recipient of the prestigious V. K. Joag award for excellence in teaching and research. She is a senior group associate of Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy.

Dr. Smita Bedekar
Associate Professor

Dr. Bedekar has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from IIT Kanpur on Parallel Algorithms for Hyperbolic Partial Differential Equations. She has been a faculty at the School since its inception and is the recipient of the prestigious IBM Faculty Award in 2007. Her research interests include Mathematical Modelling of Industrial problems and Cryptography.

Dr. Vaishali Shah
Assistant Professor

Dr. Shah has a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Pune and holds a first rank in Physics from the University of Pune in B. Sc. She has post-doctoral experience from Iowa State University, University of Maryland, Duquesne University and Carnegie Mellon University in U.S.A. She was an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, and is a faculty at the School since 2009. Her research is in the field of computational materials science focusing on nanomaterials in electronic technology, biotechnology and aerospace technology.
