The school was founded in 1994 with an intention to bridge the gap between pure sciences and computer science.It offers MSc in Scientific Computing formerly known as M.C.S. (Master of Computer science with specialization in scientific computing).

To interface interdependent disciplines of computer science and pure sciences as also application programming and scientific computing, it is one of the first of its kind in India. It has close association with the Department of Chemistry and the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).The department currently offers Master of Computer Science(M.C.S.), with specialization in Scientific Computing conducted at the University of Pune.

Result of M.Sc. Scientific Computing Entrance Exam conducted on 3rd February 2013

Students whose name appears in the attached list should submit ATTESTED copies of documents listed below by 21st May 2013
a) S.Y. B. Sc. and T.Y.B.Sc / BE (final) marklist if results are already declared. OTHERWISE marklist should be submitted within 3 days for Pune University and 5 days for outside university from the date of declaration of the result

b) Caste Certificate and creamy layer free certificate (if applicable)

c) S.S.C. Passing certificate and H.S.C. marklists.

The order in the list does not indicate merit

Please note that submission of documents does not assure admission. But, if the documents not submitted within the given period, the candidate won't be considered while preparing the final merit list. The final merit list will be declared in first week of June after verification of all documents.
